revitalise your body & mind
"I didn’t know what to expect when I joined my first yoga session ever. […] Laura helped me relax, gently corrected me and made me feel very welcome. During the first lesson I could hear my joints making sounds and in the second one – I already found myself standing on my arms. It was a surprise to see the body can do much more than you expect with a bit of guidance. I would like to thank Laura for this wonderful experience."

Feeling overwhelmed by the demands of your job?
Seeking more balance and mental clarity in high pressure situations?
Ready to reset? Find your balance with tailored techniques that fit your busy schedule.
Making space for yoga is an innovative way to support the physical and mental well-being of your staff, in all its diversity. With 7 years of experience of teaching yoga in corporate settings, I can offer expert advice on designing and delivering a programme.
The practice of yoga reduces stress, anxiety and insomnia, boosts the immune system, and relieves some of the pressures associated with sedentary work, including back, neck and head strain and carpal tunnel syndrome. It also helps to maintain a sense of resilience and ease in body and mind.
Yoga brings many benefits, which include improving productivity, concentration, creativity and decision-making. It will reduce ill-health and actively demonstrate your commitment to your staff and their well-being. Evidence to support the business benefits is available on request.
The key aspects of the yoga practice would be covered in all classes, but the programme can be tailored to emphasise the aspects that particularly support your organisational goals and wellbeing strategy.
For example, focusing on breathwork to reduce stress and bodywork to counteract the effects of sedentary work can help build physical and mental resilience, supporting overall mental health and reduce workplace absences.
- limbering warm-up to mobilise the whole body and release tension.
- strengthening yoga postures.
- breath awareness.
- grounding techniques to stay balanced under pressure.
- short, effective meditations for focus and clarity.
There are many approaches to suit your organisation but fundamentally the classes are 45 – 60 minute sessions at times to suit you (either inside or outside working hours). All that is required (by you) is a space to train in and (from them) a yoga mat and loose clothing.
Yoga practice is suitable for all employees, of any level of experience and ability. The class sizes can be as large as will fit comfortably into the training space.
Classes can be from once to several times a week, with discounts for those training regularly.
Packages run from 6 to 12 weeks, booked and paid for in advance. The costs of the training can be met by the participating employees or partly/fully funded by you.
Classes can also be incorporated into wellbeing events; leadership events; team building days; or any other event that promotes wellbeing or could benefit from a mid-session relax, stretch and re-centre.
1 to 1 yoga classes can also be used to support an individual with a long term health condition or who is experiencing stress at work.
